If you know anything about me, you know that i'm a nice, non-judgmental guy who doesn't like to criticize and who highly respects the artists and geniuses that grace us all with their star-like presence on Battlecam and these other cam sites.
Ok. That's bullshit.
I generally LOVE to take cheap shots at these cam whore buffoons who take themselves and their pathetic little lives so seriously and who actually believe that their camming up means something to more than the 12 people who may be watching them at any given time of the day.
We have a new Battlecam housemate. Her name is DesertLynn, she's 18 years old, quiet and cuter than a bunny's ear. She's also still in high school but we wont talk about that creepy subject.
I'm not going to have a go at Lynn at the moment. She's new, seemingly sweet and naive and sees the good in some of the BC casters than most of us hardened BC veterans realized was bullshit some time ago.
Why, just 2 nights ago, Tricky Vikki was holding court on Main, fake-crying about....you guessed it, TOMMY, and Lynn was in the chat box, making one helluva noble effort, sticking up for Vikki, telling her that she respected her for being strong and having the guys to say it like it was. Lynn genuinely seemed concerned that Vikki was being bullied by the big, bad trolls and was feeling sorry for her which is EXACTLY what Vikki hopes for and preys upon: clueless noobs.
I think Lynn may have finally come to her senses and has seen the TRUE side of the evil Vikki but now she seems to be buddying up with some of the other shit heals who waste our time camming up, Ghostdog for instance.
Anyway, I've noticed that Lynn has been spending some SERIOUS time on Battlecam these past few days. Easily averaging 6 hours a shot, usually in her own channel, being oggled by the white-knighting likes of the recently jilted TallBaller, the suave Mr. Tony and Mister Emo himself, Trev.
She doesn't do much on cam. She's almost dead silent, aside from an occasional giggle or chirp. She just reads what's in chat, observes other channels and stars into the screen, occasionally doing that demure little look-to-the-side thing that young girls like to do on cam when they are being told they are hot for the 300th time that day.
I just woke up and logged on Battlecam this morning and Lynn is still on cam. It's been 9 hours straight.
9 FUCKING HOURS STRAIGHT!!!!!!
Who, besides Vikki, Kissmybanass, Pikapicachu and that weirdo Chelly chick has that sort of time to sit around on Battlecam, for fuck sakes?!

I like the girl, she seems sweet but wish she would talk on mic besides constantly laying on a bed smiling on cam. Looks like Vikki has some competition with who can cast the longest. Wonder how long it will be before these two have negative words with each other.
ReplyDeleteBattlecam in moderation is not that addictive: an hour or two a day while you have other tabs open is ok :-) She IS cute, she was joining the battlefield very well on main. Our only interaction was when she said to me:''you should brush your hair before you cam up'' :-) You know me, unless it's a faceless troll, broadcasters can say pretty much anything to me and I won't battle back.
